His research primarily focuses on sustainable road construction, utilizing alternate or waste materials for pavement construction and maintenance. His work has centered on the aging characteristics of asphalt binders, modification techniques using waste materials like EPDM rubber, tire pyrolysis oil, waste plastic, and other sustainable additives.
