Embark on a comprehensive journey into the realm of architectural innovation through the "Digital Evolution: BIM Mastery for Architectural Innovation" course. Designed to offer a deep understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM), this program encompasses a series of meticulously crafted lectures. Participants will delve into the fundamental principles of BIM, exploring its application in architectural design, project management, and sustainability. Advanced techniques in BIM modeling, clash detection, parametric design, and cutting-edge BIM technologies will be explored to enhance skills and knowledge. Additionally, the course delves into the legal, ethical, and future aspects of BIM, providing a holistic view of this technology’s integration in architectural projects. From urban planning to historical preservation, disaster resilience, and the fusion of BIM with emerging technologies like IoT, virtual reality, and robotics, participants will explore the diverse and innovative applications of BIM across a myriad of architectural domains. By the end, individuals will have a comprehensive understanding of BIM's role in transforming the architectural landscape and will be equipped with the necessary expertise to drive innovation and efficiency in their architectural endeavors.

At the end of the program, students will receive a certificate & performance letter by the educator indicating that they have completed the program and acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen profession.

Digital Evolution: BIM Mastery for Architectural Innovation, by Edurado Duarte

  • Architect and Associate Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design.
    He received his Masters in Advanced Architectural Design from the GSAPP Columbia University and his PhD in Architecture from Instituto Superior Técnico - Lisboa.
    He founded his studio Benamor Duarte Architecture currently based in NY and Lisbon focused on design of objects, and spatial environments at large. His studio practice engages the flexible adaptation of a geometrical abstract apparatus in works that include installations for public spaces, ceramic building blocks, home furniture or landscapes powered by renewable energies systems. Recent commissions, include group exhibitions at the Cite’ de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine in Paris, Salone Satellite Milan Furniture Fair, Temporary Museum for New Design, Made Expo, Wanted Design NY, Soho Digital Art Gallery, Bienniale Design in Saint Etienne and Experimenta Design in Lisbon. His work has been awarded by institutions such as the Ministério da Cultura and Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
