Welcome to Forethought India One-on-One Courses. Our program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their chosen profession. Our instructor for this course is Lecturer Alessandro Villa at Politecnica di Design

"Visualizing the Unbuilt: Artistry and Technology in Architectural Rendering" offers a comprehensive exploration of the creative and technical aspects behind bringing architectural designs to life through rendering. This course delves into the foundational principles of rendering techniques, including the use of light, texture, and composition, while progressively advancing to more intricate topics such as 3D modeling, software tools, and the integration of human elements within designs. It further explores advanced rendering methods, such as realistic lighting, environmental and interior rendering, animation, and the application of virtual and augmented reality. The course culminates in an examination of futuristic trends, AI integration, ethical considerations, and the evolving landscape of architectural visualization. Through a structured series of lectures, students gain a comprehensive understanding of the field, from the basics to cutting-edge innovations, preparing them to navigate the complexities of architectural rendering with skill and creativity.

At the end of the program, students will receive a certificate & performance letter by the eductor indicating that they have completed the program and acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen profession.

Visualizing the Unbuilt: Artistry & Technology in Rendering, by Alessandro Villa

  • Alessandro Villa, architect, alternates design activity with teaching at the Design Faculty of Politecnico di Milano.
    In 1995 he graduated with honor at Politecnico di Milano, after spending an Erasmus scholarship at the Mackintosh School of Art in Glasgow. In 1998 he opened his first own interior design practice, later transformed into “alessandrovilla|studio”, covering also product design and small scale architecture.

    The practice designs residences, offices, showrooms and commercial set ups. Among the projects, the offices for the advertising agency Dorland Ayer in Milan, the pilot store for the franchising Liberti and the flagship showroom for Lorenzo Riva maison and Davines.
    Progressively, the studio has expanded its activities to the design of furniture and accessories (Wella, Rubinetterie Stella), graphic design and visual communication, thanks to an extensive network of external collaborators with different professional skills.
    The works of the studio have been published on interior design magazines (Ottagono, Casamica, Habitat Ufficio, Gap Casa, Casaviva) and by Italian and international press (Archivolto, Monsa Ediciones Barcelona, Sun Interieur Moscow, Gibbs Smith Publisher in US).

    Alessandro Villa is a lecturer at SPD Scuola Politecnica di Design and Poli.Design, Consorzio del Politecnico. He has been visiting professor at the Tongji University of Shanghai and Goenka University in New Delhi.
