"Transforming Industries: Innovations in Industrial Biotechnology" is an in-depth course designed to explore the pivotal role of biotechnology in reshaping various industries. Spanning across three distinct levels, this course delves into the core principles and advancements driving industrial biotechnology. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of genetic engineering, microbial fermentation, bioprocessing techniques, and the applications of biotechnology in diverse sectors such as pharmaceuticals, agriculture, energy, and environmental conservation. The curriculum encompasses topics ranging from basic genetic modification to advanced bioprocessing strategies, including regulatory frameworks, ethical considerations, and emerging trends. Through a series of meticulously crafted lectures, this course offers insight into the evolution, applications, and potential future impact of biotechnological innovations across multiple industries, paving the way for a deeper understanding of this transformative field.

At the end of the program, students will receive a certificate & performance letter by the eductor indicating that they have completed the program and acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen profession.

Transforming Industries: Innovations in Industrial Bio-Tech, by Nadeem Kasmani

  • Nadeem Kasmani is a physician and global health practitioner who is currently working as a Lecturer and Research Scholar at the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS).

    Dr. Kasmani received his M.D. degree from the school of medicine at the National University of Science and Technology (formerly known as Oman Medical College). After working for two years at Rashid Hospital in UAE, Dr. Kasmani was selected to attend the master's program in Global Health Delivery at HMS. He specializes in both Qualitative and Quantitative research methods. Dr. Kasmani has worked as a global health researcher on various mental health and maternal & child health (MNCH) projects in Tanzania, Haiti, Iraq, Bhutan, Ethiopia, and the United States.

    In December 2020, Dr. Kasmani co-founded Grassroots, a nonprofit dedicated to improving MNCH outcomes and developing Community Health Workforce in limited-resource populations worldwide.
