Welcome to Forethought India One-on-One Courses. Our program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their chosen profession. Our instructor for this course is Prof. Nicolas Turchi at Manchester School of Architecture
The "Dollars and Details: Construction Cost Estimation" course is an in-depth exploration of the essential principles and advanced techniques crucial for accurately predicting and managing construction project expenses. Covering a broad spectrum of topics, the course begins with fundamental concepts such as cost analysis methods, material and labor cost estimations, and understanding overheads and profits. Moving into more advanced territory, it delves into risk management, cost control strategies, and international standards in cost estimation, emphasizing the relationship between quality assurance and cost implications. As the course progresses, it explores complex areas like financial modeling, sustainable development costs, emerging technologies in estimation, and the integration of interdisciplinary approaches for more accurate estimations. Case studies and practical applications at every level offer real-world insights, showcasing successes, errors, and strategies for adapting to the dynamic landscape of construction cost estimation. The course concludes by looking ahead, predicting future trends and challenges in the field, preparing students to anticipate and address upcoming complexities in construction cost estimation.
At the end of the program, students will receive a certificate & performance letter by the eductor indicating that they have completed the program and acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen profession.
