This course, "Crafting the Future with HTML and CSS," is a comprehensive program that equips students with the fundamental skills and advanced techniques to create modern and visually engaging web content. It covers the foundations of HTML and CSS, teaching students how to structure web pages, apply styles, and design user-friendly interfaces. Beyond the basics, the course delves into topics like responsive design, forms, animations, best practices, and accessibility. It also explores advanced CSS techniques, preprocessors, and frameworks. Students will master layout models, grid systems, and cross-browser compatibility, ensuring they have the tools to create professional, responsive, and efficient web applications. By the end of this course, participants will be capable of building web content that not only meets today's standards but also adapts to the ever-evolving web landscape.
At the end of the program, students will receive a certificate & performance letter by the educator indicating that they have completed the program and acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen profession.
Crafting the Future with HTML and CSS, by Lu Shijian at Nanyang Technologica
Prof Lu received his PhD in electrical and computer engineering from the National University of Singapore. His research interests include computer vision and deep learning. He has published more than 100 internationally refereed journal and conference papers and co-authored over 10 patents in these research areas. Before joining in NTU, he took a number of leadership roles in the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), under the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*SATR) in Singapore, including Head of Visual Attention Lab, Deputy Head of Satellite Department, Co-Chair of the Image and Pervasive Access Laboratory (a CNRS overseas laboratory hosted by A*STAR in Singapore). Dr Lu is currently an Associate Editor for the journals of Pattern Recognition (PR) and Neurocomputing. He has also served in the program committee of a number of international conferences such as the Senior Program Committee of the International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI) and AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) from 2018 to 2021, the General Chair of the IAPR International Workshop on Document Analysis System (DAS) in 2020, etc.
