The course "Innovative Product Design: From Concept to Prototyping" provides a comprehensive journey through the intricacies of product design, spanning from initial ideation to the creation of functional prototypes. Students will explore the fundamental principles of the design process, emphasizing user-centered approaches and ideation techniques. They will delve into various tools for sketching, rendering, and prototyping, gradually advancing to more complex topics such as material selection, CAD modeling, and manufacturing processes. The course encompasses essential elements like user testing, design iteration, and considerations for scalability, cost analysis, and product lifecycle management. Moreover, it ventures into the realm of advanced design thinking, ethical considerations, sustainability, intellectual property, market research, and team collaboration. Participants will culminate their learning journey by engaging in a final project, showcasing their skills through presentations and critiques, ultimately mastering the art and science of innovative product design.
At the end of the program, students will receive a certificate & performance letter by the educator indicating that they have completed the program and acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen profession.

Presently, as a key member of Materially's EU Project team, they harness their expertise, previously cultivated as the Innovation Research and Library Manager at Material ConneXion Italia, to pioneer knowledge transfer between academic research and industry. Concurrently, as an influential figure at Politecnico di Milano and the IDEActivity center, they champion a fusion of creative and strategic thinking methodologies, amalgamating Design Thinking and Creative Thinking to sculpt new strategic landscapes.
