Welcome to Forethought India One-on-One Courses. Our program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their chosen profession. Our instructor for this course is Researcher Karuna Anna at Iowa State University

"Bonds and Beyond: Mastering Molecular Structures" is a comprehensive course designed to provide a deep understanding of chemical bonding and molecular structures. This course covers a wide range of topics, from the fundamentals of different types of chemical bonds, including ionic, covalent, and polar covalent bonds, to advanced concepts such as molecular orbital theory, resonance, and molecular geometry. Additionally, it delves into the practical applications of molecular structures in various fields, including chemistry, biology, and materials science. Students will gain expertise in analyzing and predicting molecular structures, which are fundamental to understanding the behavior of matter and molecules in the natural world and in diverse scientific disciplines.

At the end of the program, students will receive a certificate & performance letter by the eductor indicating that they have completed the program and acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen profession.

Bonds and Beyond: Molecular Structures, by Karuna Anna at Iowa State University

  • Karuna Anna Sajeevan is a Computational Chemist with expertise in protein/peptide modeling, peptide folding, drug-receptor modeling, antigen-antibody interaction modeling, allosteric site identification and protein engineering. Computational methodologies/analyses such as enhanced sampling molecular dynamics simulations, molecular docking and calculations of thermodynamical parameters (entropy and free energy), all atom and coarse-grained modeling and simulations are my proficiencies. She is familiar with bioinformatics and cheminformatics libraries and also have working knowledge of ML models to solve problems in biochemistry.
