Embark on a comprehensive journey into the core principles of cardiovascular fitness with our course, "Heart of the Matter: Principles of Cardiovascular Fitness." This course delves deeply into the fundamental elements essential for understanding and improving heart health and overall fitness. Through a series of engaging lectures, participants will explore a wide range of topics, from the anatomy and function of the heart to specialized cardio programs, genetic influences on cardiovascular fitness, cutting-edge technologies, nutrition, disease prevention, advanced workout techniques, and the integration of cardiovascular health into daily life. Emphasizing the significance of aerobic exercise, heart rate zones, and diverse workout plans, the course aims to equip individuals with the knowledge needed to optimize cardiovascular fitness. Regardless of the level—be it beginner, intermediate, or advanced—the course provides a structured, informative, and accessible learning experience, each lecture lasting 20 minutes, ensuring focused, actionable insights and understanding for all participants.
At the end of the program, students will receive a certificate & performance letter by the eductor indicating that they have completed the program and acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen profession.
Heart of the Matter: Principles of Cardiovascular Fitness, by Nadeem Kasmani
Nadeem Kasmani is a physician and global health practitioner who is currently working as a Lecturer and Research Scholar at the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS).
Dr. Kasmani received his M.D. degree from the school of medicine at the National University of Science and Technology (formerly known as Oman Medical College). After working for two years at Rashid Hospital in UAE, Dr. Kasmani was selected to attend the master's program in Global Health Delivery at HMS. He specializes in both Qualitative and Quantitative research methods. Dr. Kasmani has worked as a global health researcher on various mental health and maternal & child health (MNCH) projects in Tanzania, Haiti, Iraq, Bhutan, Ethiopia, and the United States.
In December 2020, Dr. Kasmani co-founded Grassroots, a nonprofit dedicated to improving MNCH outcomes and developing Community Health Workforce in limited-resource populations worldwide.
