Welcome to Forethought India One-on-One Courses. Our program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their chosen profession. Our instructor for this course is Lecturer Catie Saralegui at University of Southern California.
Embark on a thought-provoking exploration of societal norms surrounding gender and sexuality in the course "Challenging Norms in Gender and Sexuality." This comprehensive journey unfolds through a series of engaging lectures, each lasting 20 minutes, delving into topics ranging from historical perspectives on gender norms to contemporary challenges in LGBTQ+ rights. Participants will gain insights into the intersectionality of identities, breaking stereotypes, and fostering inclusivity in everyday life. The course also explores the cultural, media, and legal influences on gender and sexuality, offering a global perspective on LGBTQ+ rights. Beyond theoretical frameworks, participants will delve into personal narratives, mental health considerations, and advocacy strategies, ultimately culminating in a capstone project applying newfound knowledge to create inclusive spaces. This course aims to deepen understanding, challenge preconceptions, and contribute to a more inclusive and empathetic society.
At the end of the program, students will receive a certificate & performance letter by the educator indicating that they have completed the program and acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen profession.
