Welcome to Forethought India One-on-One Courses. Our program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their chosen profession. Our instructor for this course is Lecturer Rafael Bracero from University of Southern California


The course "Civic Innovation and Technology: Using Technology to Make a Change" offers a comprehensive exploration of the dynamic intersection between technological innovation and civic engagement. Designed to equip students with a nuanced understanding of how digital tools can be harnessed to drive positive societal transformation, the course delves into various facets of civic technology. Participants will examine the ethical implications of utilizing technology for community development, while also gaining insights into the challenges and limitations inherent in implementing these solutions. By exploring emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things, students will cultivate a deep appreciation for the potential of these innovations in fostering sustainable development and addressing complex societal issues. Emphasizing the importance of data ethics, privacy, and cybersecurity, the course aims to foster responsible innovation, encouraging participants to become active contributors to a more inclusive, resilient, and technologically advanced society.


At the end of the program, students will receive a certificate & performance letter by the educator indicating that they have completed the program and acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen profession.

Civic Innovation and Technology , by Rafael Bracero

  • Rafael Bracero has over 20 years of proven results in brand marketing and partnership development at industry-leading firms, including Disney, Procter and Gamble, Activision and Warner Media. He founded Pathfinder Brand Consulting in 2015 to serve the needs of CPG, tech, media and public sector clients.

    Bracero’s brand and product marketing experience includes Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media where he led licensing partnerships across multiple categories with Fortune 500 consumer brands, including J&J, Campbell’s Kraft, and OPI. Prior to joining Disney, Rafael worked in brand management at Procter and Gamble, Activision, and Del Monte Foods where his responsibilities included brand strategy, product management, product innovation, P&L brand accountability, and developing integrated marketing campaigns. Bracero’s expertise also includes digital marketing and social media, media planning, consumer research, forecasting and budgeting, and creative agency management.

    Rafael Bracero earned his MBA from USC Marshall School of Business with a focus on marketing. He also holds a MPP in finance from the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy. After gaining his MPP, Bracero worked in Wall Street as an investment banker for Barclays Capital, where he led global project finance transactions. Bracero earned a BA in economics and political science from the University of Michigan.
