One-on-One Live Course with Shubham Keshri at IIT Kanpur
Shubham Keshri is a Research scholar (PMRF Fellow) at IIT Kanpur, currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Industrial and Management Engineering. He is a highly motivated researcher with a keen interest in the field of Production Scheduling. Under the guidance of Dr. Avijit Khanra, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Management Engineering at IIT Kanpur, Shubham is exploring the area of multi-objective production scheduling in the parallel machine environment. His research focuses on optimizing energy cost, workload balance among machines, and tardiness of jobs. Shubham's work involves understanding the trade-offs between workload balance and tardiness, as well as workload balance and energy cost.
Before joining IIT Kanpur, Shubham completed his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur (NIT Durgapur) in 2019. During his undergraduate years, he had the privilege of interning at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland, where he worked on Quality Assurance of GEM Foils for the upgrade of ALICE TPC. Additionally, he gained valuable industry experience as a Senior Engineer at L&T Construction, where he was involved in Maintenance and Material Handling for the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) during the Ahmedabad Underground Metro Construction Project.
Alongside his academic pursuits, Shubham is an entrepreneur and a co-founder of Mental Sphere, a startup focused on community building and spreading awareness about mental health issues among Indian youth. He has also been actively involved in various entrepreneurship-related activities during his time at NIT Durgapur, where he served as the General Secretary of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell.
