  • Chandan Chakrabarty is a dedicated Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK), pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Economic Sciences. With a passion for exploring various economic issues related to Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Chandan's research focuses on the Digital Economy, Automation, Applied Machine Learning, Big Data Analysis, Economics of ICT, Network Economics, and Development Economics.

    Education-wise, Chandan completed his Master of Arts (MA) in Applied Economics from Pondicherry University, Puducherry. Prior to that, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from F.M. College.

    Currently, Chandan is actively engaged in studying the Digital Development of less Developed Economies. His work aims to understand the impact of law enforcement on the non-performing assets of Indian banks. His research contributions have been recognized, and he has presented his findings at the 5th International Conference on Law and Economics held at IIM Bangalore, India.
