One-on-One Live Course with Deepak Jain at IIT Kanpur
Deepak Jain is an accomplished Research Establishment Officer at IIT Kanpur with a specialization in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. With over 6 years of experience in the field, Deepak has been a driving force behind numerous R&D activities in the flight laboratory at IIT Kanpur. His expertise lies in designing, developing, upgrading, and modernizing equipment and sensors for flight testing and health monitoring. Deepak's contributions have significantly enhanced the understanding of aerodynamic and aircraft performance parameters.
Education-wise, Deepak holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Currently, he is pursuing a Part-Time PhD from the same institute, focusing on machine learning techniques for Flight load monitoring. As part of his research, he is instrumenting the Hansa-3 airplane with strain sensors to estimate the load experienced by the aircraft using cutting-edge machine learning and deep learning approaches.
Deepak's academic journey started with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Aeronautical Engineering from Aeronautical Society of India. He further honed his skills by obtaining a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Design (Mechanical Engineering) from NIT Allahabad. His passion for continuous learning led him to complete certifications in various domains, including Accounting Foundations, Data Science Foundations, Marketing Foundations, and Statistics Foundations from LinkedIn.
Throughout his career, Deepak has displayed a keen interest in teaching and mentoring. He has served as an Assistant Professor at GD Goenka University and IMS Engineering College, where he taught subjects like Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, and Machine Design to Mechanical Engineering undergraduates. His enthusiasm for education extends beyond conventional classrooms, as he actively participated in Enactus India projects, where he developed sustainable social entrepreneurship business models to uplift the underprivileged.
