11. Your Data Protection Rights under the California Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. Refund & Cancellation Policy (For all courses, programs and 1-1 services):
• Incase of Course/Cohort Cancellation from Forethought India, 50% of total Course/Cohort fee will be refunded within 5 working days. Rest 50% would be charged as service fee.
• Forethought India reserves the rights to assign an new educator incase an educator is unavailable.
• No refund will be issued if a student is unable to pass the test and hence the course/cohort.
• No refund will be issued if a student is disqualified for misconduct or vulgar.
• The educator designs the course/cohort exclusively for the particular strength of the batch and the structure for each batch is unique. Therefore, a return, refund or cancellation will not be issued once the course is purchased.
• Refund of the duplicate payment made by the customer will be processed within 10 days after intimation by the customer before Course Start.
Internship services (Under Professors/Scholars):
• Internship opportunity by Forethought India is only a medium to connect and consult students with Professors and Scholars for Internship.
• Forethought India is not responsible for the duration, conduct, accommodation, stipend, structure or any other such activities in regards to the Internship. It shall be under the Professor or Scholar at their liability and discretion.
• Professor & Scholar includes - Lecturer, Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Guest Faculty, Contract Faculty and PhD Scholars.
• Selection of final candidates is totally on the discretion of the professor he/she/they may reject any candidate at any point of time during the selection process of internship or during the internship.
• Forethought India will not provide a refund in case of cancellation of program during the internship by the professor or scholar or exit by a student in the internship.
Student Grants by Forethought India (Not available now):

Student grant by Forethought India is provided to a student or set of students who is a registered member in any of the society listed at our website.

Selection of the student is totally random using (Random Number Generator).

Selected students would receive the confirmation message of the same at their registered mobile number on WhatsApp (If available) and at their email address used for registration.
-
No reply from the student or set of students after 100 days of selection would terminate the grant.
